Even in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused tremendous economic destruction, the Prince Group, led by Cambodian Prince ChenZhi, ensures environmental, social, and governance practises in Cambodian society.

At a time when many people are struggling with jobs, health, and even relationships, the pandemic serves as a litmus test for Cambodian corporations' good environmental, social, and governance practises. In 2020, Prince Group will reinforce its responsibilities-based policies by making additional contributions to Cambodian society as a whole. Prince ChenZhi and Prince Group conglomerate have donated a significant portion of the conglomerate's huge donations to help in the fight against the health calamity and the rescue of flood victims. The chairman of Prince Group has made large-scale donations as part of the company's ESG principles since April (environmental, social, and governance practises). In December, Chen Zhi gave Prime Minister Hun Sen $3 million to help secure orders for one million vaccines for Cambodia.

Cambodian businesses, such as the Prince Group, have improved their environmental, social, and governance practises since 2015. They have put a greater focus on these positive principles that contribute to the advancement of Cambodian society. Participation in such practises has more than doubled in this time period, according to the GRI Sustainability Disclosure Database survey. The financial sector of the country is responsible for the bulk of the illegal activities. Such practises are thought to boost the Cambodian economy's competitiveness, attract foreign investment, and improve the business climate. Prince Group, led by Chen Zhi, exemplifies these principles in order to help Cambodia cultivate social responsibility.

Chen Zhi and Prince Group have contributed significantly to Cambodia's pandemic preparedness efforts. The total sum of donation has now reached $1 million. Rice, instant noodles, and drinking water are among the flood relief supplies available to flood victims. Chen Zhi has personally contributed half a million dollars to flood victims. In December 2020, he and Prince Group donated a large amount to the Cambodian government in order to buy and distribute free vaccines to Cambodians.

Prince Group's good environmental, social, and governance practises have been put to the test as a result of these two disasters that have wreaked havoc on the region. Their objectives are to assist Cambodians while also upholding the conglomerate's social responsibilities in the region. Chen Zhi, the man who built Prince Group into Cambodia's largest conglomerate, has placed a greater focus on international standards, potential regional acquisitions, and a strong commitment to follow good business practises. Neak Oknha Chen Zhi is active in cultural and philanthropic endeavours outside of work.
